How To Change Autel OBD2 Scanner Language?
Autel scanner tools are divided into handheld code readers and tablet scanners, and scanners can be divided into online machines and offline machines. The default factory language for most machines is English.
If you are not a US user, or your location is outside the US, how do you change the language to your common language? Here, we will explain them one by one.
First, buy the right scanner. Next check the scanner's vehicle coverage and language availability. Not all tablets support multiple language switching.
Most handheld code readers support multiple language switching, such as the common English, French, German, and Spanish.
Some minor languages are not supported, and we are working hard to improve them.
NOTE: For Maxisy series tablets, MS906 and above only support English. for other devices.
Before changing the language you need to contact us to ask Autel support for assistance in obtaining authorization.
This requires you to provide the serial number of the Autel OBD2 scanner you purchased, which is a 13-character code that is usually located under the barcode on the back of the product.
When Autel supports authorization, we will proceed to the next step of language setting.
1.Tablet Scanner
Path to MaxiSys Tablet:
Settings >> Language >> (your desired language)
Path to other tablets such as MK808
Settings >> System Settings >> Language & Input >> (your desired language) After selecting the language, restart your device and update the app again.
2.Handheld code reader
Usually a memory card is used for software download updates. Format a brand new SD memory card, find the corresponding software version on the Autel official website, download it to the Autel OBD2 code reader, and update the application again.
All done, hope this helps! If you have any questions, please contact sales@obdprice.com by E-mail.
