Q: How to use the signal generator to diagnose a wheel speed sensor signal issue?
A： The signal generator is an instrument that simulates the signals of automotive electronic components. When the VCMI (Vehicle Communication and Measurement Interface) device is connected with MaxiSys Ultra Tablet, you can open the Waveform Generator application by taping the Measurement icon on the Home screen of the tablet and then tapping the waveform generator icon, and performing the waveform generator-related functions, including simulating automotive sensor signals and actuator signals.

Q: Can this scanner support tpms service?
A： Autel Scanner MaxiSys Ultra supports tire pressure reset, when the tire pressure fault light of some cars is on, you can reset the tire pressure through this function, and then erase the tire pressure fault light.
If you need to perform TPMS programming, we would suggest you consider Autel TPMS devices, such as TS408, TS508, TS608, MX808S-TS, etc.

This scanner does very well. The times that I have used it, have been nothing but positive ones. From catching intermittent sensor failures to resetting fuel trims or writing vin numbers on selected vehicles, after ecm replacement.
