Autel Remote Expert is a cloud-based service that lets technicians connect with and hire qualified remote programming/diagnostic experts when a job requires capabilities or OEM access they may not have locally.

In practical terms:

  • You have the vehicle at your workshop.
  • Your Autel tablet connects to the vehicle through the VCI/VCMI.
  • You submit a Remote Expert service request.
  • A remote expert connects to the vehicle and performs supported programming or other diagnostic work using OEM-level software/tools.
  • You can communicate with the expert through messaging or voice.
  • The service is particularly useful for module/ECU programming, including cases where OEM subscriptions or brand-specific expertise are required. Autel says the service supports more than 130 brands in its current technician guide.
