Autel diagnostic tools include a free one-year software update subscription by default. For selected products, Autel may offer a promotional two-year software update period. Due to activation and system synchronization timing, some users may initially see only a one-year software update period after activating their device.
Possible Scenarios & Solutions
After activation, most Autel diagnostic devices will automatically synchronize and display the additional promotional software update period within 3 business days.
If your device still shows only one year of software updates after 3 business days, please contact our customer service team and provide:
- Device model name
- Device serial number (S/N)
We will verify your eligibility and process the two-year software update extension within 2 business days.
If you do not contact us within 30 days after device activation and your device only displays a one-year software update period, the additional promotional update period may no longer be available.
Important Notice
We recommend checking your software update expiration date shortly after activating your device. If the promotional update period is not displayed correctly, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible.
